This creamy quick and easy chocolate pudding pie takes only a few minutes to make and it tastes awesome.
I made this with my kids a few weeks ago and it was hard keeping their little hands from eating most of this recipe. I mean they are kids so chocolate and their taste buds were meant for each other.
I understand because I myself act like I’m 5 when chocolate is around. And my family has no problem with that. Or at least they don’t tell me.
Chocolate is fantastic because it’s one of those foods that puts a smile on your face and calms you down. It basically changes your mood for the better so aren’t we lucky to have it whenever we wish?
All of us have that inner child moment that stays with us throughout adulthood. And with me, it’s in my kitchen area where random ingredients remind me of my childhood and take me back to Poland. Chocolate and anything “cocoa” related usually takes me there. Back to my mother’s tiny kitchen and her awesome cooking which continues on today.

9 inch graham cracker pie crust
1 pkg 3 oz dry chocolate pudding mix
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup cool whip (thawed)
4 oz Hershey’s or any other chocolate bar
- Mix the pudding mix with the milk until creamy and thick.
- Pour the pudding on the crust.
- Slowly spread the thawed cool whip on top of the pudding.
- Use a vegetable peeler to make the chocolate curls. Sprinkle them on top of the cool whip.
- Chill for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
